NEW Healing Hope Begins

Dateline: Kettering, Ohio. "Healing Hope" hosted by Lonnie Melashenko of Kettering Health Network debuts and will air on January 2, 2010. All episodes will show (all times EST) Saturdays at 7:00 p.m.; Monday at 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday at 10:00 p.m.

"Healing Hope" features interviews with Dr. Rebekah Wang-Scriven of Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio; Dr. Kirk Chung, child psychiatrist at Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center; Dr. Tom Hardy of Grand View Medical Center; Dr. Karl Haffner, senior pastor of the Kettering SDA Church; Chris VanDenburgh, Parish Nurse Director for Kettering Medical Center; Dr. Steve Schmidt, surgeon and missionary doctor and much more.

Note: If you don't have the "Hope-TV" satellite channel here is how you can access the new television show, "Healing Hope." You may watch it online on your computer. Go to http://www.hopetv.org/ and click on the "welcome page" with two options to select at the bottom: high speed/broadband or low speed/dial up. Select your option, then select the "Watch Now" tab and it starts playing the telecast live.

This week's episode of "HEALING HOPE" on the HOPE Channel features Dr. Karl Haffner as he discusses stress, burn-out and "soul fatigue," with Bible answers for overcoming these problems. There are many aspects of our culture that contribute to the epidemic of depression in our country is what I would've said, edited it a bit...I just had this conversation with someone....about 'don't be surprised the world hates you'.

It's peculiar, but that's ok, since he wants that too. All to himself.

I'm beginning to learn about how special that is, fallen man, in all the created universe!

YES there are many things in this world that could depress a person but
with JESUS in one' life that does not have to be the case
