Death of Young James
#1
My niece and her husband have been looking after a young handicapped man for 20 years now (In August he would have been 26 years old).  He was in the hospital for 6 months with his large colon removed and has been very sick.  He just got sent back to his group home, where he was now living, on Wednesday afternoon and died early Thursday morning.  Don't know why they let him out of the hospital and he died less then one day later.  The hospital is going to send him to a place that will do an autopsy to find out the cause of his death.

Please pray for Carolyn and Terry.  They are really struggling with this.  The funeral will be this coming Friday at our church.

The song I've chosen to sing for the funeral is "Does Jesus Care" It is a very appropriate song and the words go like this....

"Does Jesus care when my heart is pain'd Too deeply for mirth or song' As the burdens press And the cares distress, And the way
grows weary and long! O yes, He cares, I know He cares, His heart is touched with my grief; When the days are weary, The long nights
dreary, I know my Saviour cares."

Does Jesus care when I've said "goodby" To the dearest on earth to me, Any my sad heart aches 'Till it nearly breaks = Is this aught to
Him does He see? O yes, He cares, I know He cares, His heart is touched with my grief; When the days are weary, The long nights
dreary, I know my Saviour cares."

Should work well in helping his family to deal with his passing.

It was a good funeral and James is now buried in the cemetery close to his home. My niece and her husband were very sad but glad that it is over. :-(
